 Hi FB,

Not one I have come across before and a quick check of my records, it is not recorded and I do not think it  is British brand, maybe Dutch. I will investigate further over week-end.

Not often I disagree with Bacco but, the Highland Tobacco Co, are listed as a British Firm in certain listings  ?

 Hi FB ,

Lummox is right, the firm "Highland Tobacco Co" is registered as a British Company but manufactured cigarettes here for their own consumption which I believe in this case it is a Dutch brand. This is not uncommon but I can't confirm as yet. I found an advert  for "Highlander" which is another one of this firms brands. My friend who is a packet collector also agrees that it may be Dutch. Have also posted a couple of packets "Daisy" by Jamaican Tobacco Co and "Jabberwock" by B Morris & Sons Ltd.

Cheers for the info Bacco. I really like that 'Daisy' packet. I still regret selling a packet of five 'Snowdrop' cigarettes with the ciggies still inside many years ago!... Now in the Robert Opie collection.
