What’s people’s thoughts on this? I initially thought it was ok but have my suspicions now. The vendor has the Silver Shred sign too.  https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264679450742

My view is that these are both good, but of late manufacture, probably just post-war. They were displayed in pairs, and I can remember a couple outside a local shop in the early 1970s.

Yep, both fine. I have an identical Golden Shred on my kitchen wall.

Both are good - though quite late. There's an earlier(?) version with a larger G than the other letters

Certain everyday food brands advertising has gone quite mad recently. I like the Robertsons brand stuff (Not the golly pictured stuff) - I have a Golden and a Silver Shred pair that are minters and really like them.

Still trying to complete the set though with these below - any out there, let me know. (Collecting sets of things can drive you mad as well)

Bought this one off the Godfather at Newark about 10 years ago when there were a few around signs. Thought it was cheap at £120 and a good investment as the Robertson's brand is iconic and these look great in a kitchen. I have a suspicion they came from India?

Thanks Steve for the heads up. What a shame it has a front tooth knocked out in the middle…

I’ll probably pass on this one as I’m really looking for another minter to go with my other two minters – happy to pay more for a top quality one.

Also hate using the bay with mad people bidding into the stratosphere – gotta have it, gotta have it, gotta have it! Much prefer to buy direct from another collector.

Cheers
