I always thought that these were prewar, is that a date code or batch number in the left hand corner 3/50 ?.

 I have always assumed , rightly or wrongly , that was a post-war sign , it has a fairly "modern " look to it . It would make yours 70 years old anyway , so it probably is a date code . Spratt's signs were made well into the 1950 's so why not these?

Strange they all seem to be 13/50, so maybe that's
a customer number 13, /1950 ?. Anyone seen any different codes.

Is that the same sign format?, if so its thrown in another spanner, B for Feb or batch?, could it be from a different maker?.. some were made by Patent, some are marked Bruton.
