Totally wrong !! LOL  a household hallroom mirror, strangely masquerading as  an advertising mirror. Victor Mee have some good stuff ....BUT there are also loads of,   lets say dubious lots in most of their sales.

Hi, Thanks for reply, totally agree with you, I wish these specialised auction houses would make bidders more aware, I asked for a view of the back and could just make out where the original eyelets for the hanging chain were and the position they in would have meant the mirror would have hung portrait position not landscape !! You got to be on your guard all the time!!. Cheers All Keith

Yean ..never seen that . It would be a nice piece if real .
The diecut tin pieces featuring the cow and advertising are quite nice .

hi, can anyone help with this question? Everyone has to be aware of fakes, especially in our hobby and we all examine things we buy, is this right ?   is that right? we all do it to make sure we are not conned by the fakers, sometimes we get it right sometimes we don't My question is can wording UNDER a mirror be applied to say a 100 year plain mirror?   if you think about it the silver on the reverse has to be removed then wording applied backwards then re- silvered, is that possible? does anyone think this could be done by fakers, Regards Everyone
