Dont forget those 2 words Phone guy that they all say with no plz or thanks.."FOR SALE"??
Yea, it’s a bit more like a quick-fire market, when items are given a £price.
Weird thing is it’s against the rules to ask if something could be for the off. Don’t see why you can’t politely just ask? If it’s not for sale, the answer is a simple “sorry no”. No big deal. Also no offers allowed.
There are nice items being shared, but the overall feel of the site is a bit ‘big brother is watching you’ and clinical, unlike this site which feels much more rambunctious and spontaneous – as Mick says like your Local, where you can have a good chinwag – which may sometimes get a bit out of control, but that makes it more real life.

Like I say to the lads in our smoko room, if people heard the conversations we have in here, there would probably be a lynch mob out the front. This forum feels a bit like the smoko room and the lynch mob are hanging out at Facebook. At the moment here in OZ, if you say the slightest thing negative about aboriginals, your a racist. I acknowledge that not all aboriginals are losers, BUT ! a large majority of the ones I've met in my life are. The experiences you have in life mold who you are and what you think. My parents immigrated from Croatia after the war, travelled to the other side of the world to a country they new nothing about, couldn't speak a word of the language. Searching for a more stable place to live, to provide their future family a better way of life. My parents were mocked by Aussies back in the day, called Wogs and god knows what else. Somehow they still managed to work their whole lives, pay their taxes, raise a family and be good members of the their community. Of course years later came Vietnamese immigrants, that went through the same issues as my parents, language, looked different, were taking jobs from Aussies. My point is, I respect ANYBODY who lives to our country and wants to work hard, pay their taxes, to get a better life for their family's. Then on the other hand races who complain that what happened hundreds of years ago is the reason they can't work, NO laziness is the reason you can't work ! At the factory where I work, over the years we have had four aboriginal workers, on the way out the door, they all called the company racist for getting rid of them. Apparently it had something to do with the color of their skin, NOT the fact that they didn't show up for work 2-3 days a week. Now on this site I can write my opinion, I'm sure some will agree with the jist of what I'm saying and others will think I'm racist. I'm sure if I wrote the same thing on Facebook I would probably be deleted and barred from the site.

Hey Fleece this is all part of the crazeyness the world is now getting itself into.
What’s happening now is all about weaponizing race through things like race-baiting, while at the same time not truly understanding what an awful thing real Racism actually really is. The word Racism is being used far too casually now for everything, which is leading to it being watered down from its true awful meaning – think eugenics.
If this continues in the direction it is going, human kind is going to enter a very dark period of history, unlike anything we have seen before.
For me it’s very simple:
- A person cannot learn to be a race as this is decided by mother nature before they are born – race is not something you can physically learn it’s your genetics, so hating someone based solely on their genetics is madness and very dangerous re: eugenics
- A person can however learn culture and behaviour as these are decided through their exposer to manmade things – culture and behaviour are learned and practiced - you are not born with them
It is the manmade culture and behaviour which the world is struggling with, not race, in my opinion.
Let's get back to happier fun things - so, who can we windup in the group today !

Fleece, it's exactky like that in Canada too. The radical left are taking over common sense as well, statues of our founding forefathers of confederation are being torn down, schools renamed, neighborhoods renamed, subway stations renamed, all removing historical figures who were honored for their achievements and influence, now trying to be erased in an attempt to cover up the fact that Canada was built on colonism. Somehow removing our history is supposed to make everyone forget. The next step will be calling soldiers who fought in WW1 and WW2 racists for fighting the Germans....why not? It's where we are headed.....erase all history to appease the leftist minority, because everyone's afraid to speak up and be labeled a racist, so we just let our country and traditions and culture be walked all over |

Mick I agree 100%. What I don't understand is, if I talked to 100 people in the street 99 would agree that things have got out of hand, with minority groups having such influence, so why do they have ? Here in OZ, there is a cheese, or should I say, was a cheese called COON. The cheese was invented in 1910 by a Mr. Edward Coon, it's his fuc*ing name, not a racist shot at anyone and you guessed it the name was changed. |

It's because everyone is shamed into thinking we must accommodate, or be labeled racist. It's such a stigma nowadays, everything is being pushed underground |

Great to see forum members having their say on the current state of politics and society .
You blokes are multi tasking . Best in the field in High end Advertising and also quite adept at seeing through what the woke Left are putting forward . I couldn't agree more with your comments . I hope your children are clever enough to see it as well ( mine are ) . Conservative values are what made our Countries great , and Conservative values are the only way our countries can move forward and prosper while facing those who would over turn everything our fathers fought and died for . Woke Bullshit from piss weak men .
Fuck their sorry pronouns . .. Cheers from Australia |

Hi, some very interesting views on the madness going on in today's world , my thoughts for what they are worth,..... humans don't easily mix with cultures that are very different from theirs , like different religion, skin colour, language, etc, if they did then we would need laws to force us to like them , after all theres no law to force us to like chocolate and chips because that comes naturally!!, secondly, this world today is shaped by the media, mostly television/news etc, the reason minority voices are heard from them is to stir things up because they know full well these people do not share the same views of 99% of the nations population so it's a trick to get us all to keep watching the news/ television etc. Just look at our forum on this topic , it's got us all commenting!!!, Cheers All |
