Well to be fair Trix, I moved 30 mins outside the city to the country 5 years ago, so the snow is definitely worse out here than in the city, but this was a freak storm nonetheless. If you search for British Columbia flooding and mudslides, you'll see the devastation the same storm caused BC to the west of Alberta. All 4 highways in the lower mainland from BCs interior were wiped out, they are airlifting in supplies at the moment. Abbotsford, Princeton and Merritt hit worst ! |

Yep, Regina can get cold alright, Winnipeg comes to mind too. Both very cold cities in Jan/Feb 🥶 |
