Where were you all on Sunday afternoon ? having a nap after lunch, brandy and Cigars ?  (not Rajah) watching Fred Dibnah videos  and dreaming of :

well - I bought this for £137  on Ebay ! (still looking for a Phillips tea !

Well done !! I saw it, but the it was to hard to tell how bad the damage was with all the rust floating around. It obviously now wasn't as bad as what it looked.

How about a photo of that Coopers sign in the back ground??

Just looked up the original photo, did you take a gamble because it looked well rusted? Cleaned up a treat, well done.

I don't think anyone would want The Coopers sign - it's been on that fence for 20 yrs !

although it would have once been interesting as it's a giant cut - out sheep

for a very good reason ..................................

as for the John  Ginger - he had been nailed to a shop counter and when they re - varnished in the 30's (i preseme) the varnished over him as well - what we all saw was not rust but the remains of that varnish
