I don't think it matters how or where you acquire your signs from. Over the years i've found some , been given some ,swapped a few , bought fom dealers , trawled the fairs looking for them ,bought from friends etc. It's a pesonal choice as to how you go about it . I've only ever bought two signs from ebay , and i've never trawled through hedgerows or gone digging holes in the ground searching for them . We get them where we can  ,and each of us will have a different approach to it .

I find it hard to imagine that a few people have never found an enamel sign whilst following the hobby..i find it even more harder to imagine finding a sign in Any condition part of some ones bucket list..

Oh Spence, you spoiled welsh boy. We don't have signs out in the wild here where I'm from. The oldest building is around 1910, not much for dumps either, I'm afraid it is a bucket list for me.

I’ve found loads of signs over the years. I’d post them up here if I could but I can’t.

These were found coming into a small town. There was also a Coca Cola sign just sitting on the ground, for decades, but it was roached, because it was painted.
