About thirty years ago I heard about an enamel that was withdrawn from auction after the owner changed his mind about selling it.
It was a country village lane setting. In the foreground is a happy dog with a chain of sausages in its mouth. In hot pursuit is the butcher and a village policeman (all red faced and fat) plus a few kids running after everyone else. I have forgotten the brand.
Has anyone else seen this enamel ?
