I think this sign is from around 1950 which is a little (very little) before my time but I am sure most of us can remember getting kits like this for Christmas or birthdays. It would be interesting to know what percentage of these kits were ever completed.

I know this sign pales to some of the early beauties that appear here but it takes me back to familiar times and what may seem common today can often be hard to find tomorrow.

I never finished one but my brother was quite good with the old model making. i just played with the glue
