It's certainly original and looks in good order. May just have been slightly trimmed along the top - I think they should be 40 inches tall (115cm) x 72 inches long (183cm). Difficult to say about price - large signs are not always popular, but I'd be definately tempted to put an offer in if I lived over there!!

Looks like it might have had new metal welded in on the top edge? I think there was a doctor collecting professionally related advertising in Austria, and I wonder if this could have been his?

Saw this at a dealers house out Norfolk way over 10 years ago. In my opinion its a super and rare sign but has too much script to warrant the wall space inside. If you want one, it may be worth a shot even with the welded top edge. Would be an easy repair and look good framed.

I think it's a wonderful sign, and had one on the bedroom wall for years! In fact I think our kids learnt to read with it! (I'm not sure the term 'brain-fag' has been widely used by them though!)
