I put these away in this tobacco tin years ago and discovered them again today.

I thought that they were put out by tobacco companies during or just after WW1
One however has " Feather Flour " printed on it .
All of the rest are unbranded except for the small  round one at bottom right.
It says " Smoke Capstan Cigarettes"

Hi Relics

I've had and seen  similar from the UK that were sold around the country during WWI at fetes, etc to raise funds for charities looking to help soldiers and the war effort directly.

Sounds right Lummox - Fundraisers for the War effort .
There are similar badges and pinbacks in Australia .

Interesting though that one mentions Feather Flour  ..

Not come across them before but would tend to agree with Lummox. I wonder how many different ones there are??
