Another find this weekend. Mirror states it is the property of Ogdens at the bottom. Is bigger than the capstan and gold flake mirrors. About 2 ft by 3ft. Date ? Over to you Bacco....!

Hi Jezmond,

A very nice mirror. Is the "Property of Ogdens" stamped on the frame or mirror??

This "Guinea Gold" brand was introduced in 1897 and withdrawn in 1937. That is fourty years in circulation which tells you how popular they were. I would say the mirror is circa 1905-1910.

 This sign is similar. Always struck me as an early image and tub thumping.
