Could anybody give me their opinion on this? It comes from India which rings alarm bells admittedly but the seller has sold me a few good earlier signs before. Is this definitely wrong or could it just be  a good condition late example? I know that india produced scores of different later (30s/40s) signs advertising watches.

I bow to your greater wisdom but would love to know your reasons behind your views, to help me with my own future judgement calls.

Its small size, around 10 inches wide. No makers name, probably a Bombay example?

Thanks for your help.

Looks very much like original, but I will need a photo from the back.

Heres a link to the back as requested. Its a very heavy sign for its size, disproportionately heavy, and is on the thickest gauge steel (or has the thickest gauge enamel) I've encountered.

Any feedback would be so gratefully received. Remember you need to paste this link to your browser as my links seem to be dead.

Thank you.

I could believe that it was original but late, except that the design of the sign, particularly the lettering, is very poorly done, and you would have thought scarcely of a quality to advertise some of the world's most expensive brands of watches! Really not appealing to my eye, I'm afraid, original or not!

 Thank you all, so much.

Late or Indian or both doesnt hurt as much as modern repro does.
