Decorative Egyptian Cigarette Tin for B. Kriegsfeld et Cie - MAL-KAH. I bought this today in a local Antiques Shop. Whats the approximate date of this tin? (apologies for the quality of my photograph!)

It doesn't help anything, but one finished on eBay a few days ago:

I do like Kreigsfield stuff though. Generally rare and normally very attractive tins.

Hi jules,

I have posted my 'Mal-Kah' tin and I agree with you they are very attractive. B Kriegsfeld who was German founded his company in 1892  but had to change his company name because of the anti German feelings. It became 'Mal-Kah" Cigarette Co & B.K & Co Ltd in 1897 and then became the Anglo Colonial Tobacco Co in 1905..'Mal-Kah' has 30 to 40 different brands and Jez is right, your Egyption brand are about 1911,
