The " Coral" flake brand was introduced by the firm W.T Davies of Chester in 1909 and survived until 1937 when it was withdrawn. It was available in both cigarette and tobacco. The tobacco must have been very popular as you see quite a lot of the small tins but have not come across their 1lb tin or their  cigarette cartons.

This tin sign measures 18" X 7" and is dated 1913

Love the sign. As you say the finger tins are ubiquitous but hard to find in good condition.
