 Well, perhaps not quite.

However, after my loooooooooooooong journey this week I can reveal BBR has taken a consignment of a great many enamels.

Some of the lesser ones will appear in the Saturday 20th Unreserved Auction at Elsecar whilst the rest will be split over at least 4 Sunday sales - July, October this year, and Feb & April next year..... plenty to go at!!!

Watch BBR website, or email BBR in two weeks for the Saturday 20th April Unreservewd catalogue pdf

As I can't fathom posting pics on here (used to be easy peasy) I could only provide a list - not in the office at the mo tho.... from memory - Burma Sauce (boy pictorial) - super condition, 3 different coloured Rownrees, large size 'eye pictorial, Fry's 5 boys, large and small pressed shield Fry's, 2 Shropshire cartoon newspaper variants, small Norfolk Boots (boot pictorial), double sided hanging Pickfords, red, black & white fishing smack pictorial (Hull), cows head pictorial for 'JR' foodstuffs, small film reel cut out.... and on, and on, and on......

Holding items over for a number of sales it is perhaps 'prudent' not to reveal what is in future sales. A difficult decision.

The Saturday 20 April entries will be photographed this coming week (from another enamels collection - all offered NO RESERVE), and I will split up the other collection (best bits) to ascertain what is going in the next 4 upcoming sales - so I could at least 'reveal' what may be offered in July.

Not intending to tease - but wanted to let you know there's plenty "coming along in the next 12 months"........

Apols for no compoiste sheet just yet - bit stretc hed with tight magazine deadline - to print at week-end - then posted 5 days before the April 20/ 21 Show.

However, the good news (for enamel fans) is had another small delivery today - all to go into the Sturday auction - even better than the first lot!!!! Exciting times get better?

I doubt the market could actually take a specialist sign JUST of enamels.

BBR used to do Advertising sales, but the market has moved on and developed, along with less fresh to market material coming out.

The signs ARE piling up here - so expect to see more than of late in upcoming BBR Saturday & Sunday sales - but I am wary of flooding the market in any way.

Of course I can only sell what comes in - all offerings here are different and can vary enormously - more advertising in some than others - that's the nature of the 'beast'.

Alan,

I sell about 150 signs a month so I really don't think you can flood an international market.

Anyways I can't make it on sat so could you email me a few pics of what you have so I can leave a few bids please?

Cheers

Al.

Khairong - have a look at the sale-room .com for the illustrated catalogue.
Don't get too excited though, just a dozen enamels, none of which will float your boat!
