Picked this up recently.  It's got a lovely gloss.  Could anyone give me some idea of the date of it?  There's no mention of the Imperial Tobacco Company, or an ITC number.  They've got one at the Blists Hill Victorian Museum, so what do you think, around 1900?

Hi Paul,
I'd date it around 1930, the text is much more deco. Also compare with some of the other primary coloured Ogdens and it seems later.
That said good nick and a great bright sign. Its still out there!

Thanks Jez.  I know it looks 30's, and that's what I thought at first but with no mention of the ITC, I'm not so sure.  Plus it's on iron, not steel.  The mystery deepens.

I used to own one of these in near mint condition with an incredible sheen. I sold it to Steve Burton circa 1993/94, wish I hadnt now...
