Some of you may have noticed my WANTED ad for IRISH BP MOTOR SPIRIT and STERNOL.

Had my BP for a while now but finally picked up my Sternol today, although its not in the best condition and there is no sheen on the blue.

Anyone know a good oil or "varnish" or something to bring the colour back out and seal it a bit?

Any advice would be great, not worth all the effort of restoring, would just like to bring the colour out somewhat.

I used to own a near mint version of this sign back in the day; I remember finding it along with a similar sized Colmans Mustard sign behind an outhouse in a village called Maders, in Cornwall, UK...

Ah right....I paid for this one, from fleabay so could probably chase it down, but was local so no postage cost.

I know MADERS, not far from Kelly Bray.

I can only dream of finding my first sign still!!...looking everywhere but still no luck.

If anyone has a better condition one to sell, I am still looking....this is just a filler at the moment....
