This smith & wesson 32 rimfire revolver was made in the usa c 1860,it was used by both sides in the civil war,,it was years ahead of the other gunmakers of the time,,sam colt was on percussion until the 1870s,,this little gem took a metalic cartridge and was favoured by officers on both sides as a second gun,a hideaway to get a man out of trouble or in trouble as the case maybey,,when wild bill hickock was killed in deadwood in august of 1876,this model was on his person,which adds to it provenance in the usa.,,,this one is the best of this model i have ever owned so its a keeper.
