I'm no expert and only have a few items myself but going of what I seen I say £30-£35 Each for both items you have ,

It might be a over estimate or under But maybe some could advise you more,

 Hi albion68,

Like your "Gold Flake" sign. Both these brands were introduced in late 1890's and were still available in the 1960's implying a lot of their items around. However, the train would have dual interest to train enthusiasts as well. Certainly worth twice the suggested price if not more.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestions on the value of my signs, a bit wide of the mark thought.
Already have had an offer of £200 for the train sign, but i'm not looking to sell.
As we all know valuations is not an exact science, its worth what someone will pay.
Can i just add that its nice to be among fellow collectors who can see the beauty
in our own field of collecting, and i suppose you;ve all had the same reaction as i
get when i show non collecting frinds & workmates what i've just bought.
"You paid HOW much for that bit of rusty tin with a picture on it " and then give you a
look like you've gone bonkers.
Anyway ,Cheers & good luck with your collecting. Keith
