Anyone have any information on this sign as I can't find it in the "Street Jewellery". It belongs to a friend who has had it in his garage for over 20 yrs. I have not seen it and he tells me that it may have been used for mixing concrete??? It measures 4' x 2' and note that it has "Special Army Quality" on the packet.. I wonder if it was Indian manufactured?

Can someone turn them around as I'm having difficulty.

Thanks Lummox for your reply. My further investigation confirms that the brand was introduced for the export market incl India and also for the military but manufactured at Will's in Bristol as a packet that I have looked at has "Marsden" on it.

Not seen that in enamel before, but they were common in tinplate on ebay in the early days.

I've had one of these for about 25 years . From memory it has no makers name on it .
I bought it from a British dealer , and have always thought that it may be of Indian origin .
I'll put a pic up of the sign later today .
