For insurance purposes  I have taken pictures of my collection ..Decided to share pictures of just the smaller bits picked up over the years,  mainly at weekend fairs and on a tight budget ..The odd mad splurge as with the Woodland Belle..£500  kept secret from my wife  ..Happy to answer any questions ( the Old Tyke is paper label.. age? )..Some which were rare at the time, through ebay have become more common i.e the full Tabloid tea tin .I bought what I liked and left tins which did not appeal to me .i.e. a mint ragtime for £15 a mint Robinson Crusoe toffee £20..Happy with what I have but would buy these now

 Hi Kennett,

Love your collection of tins. Some nice tobacco/cigarette tins in very good condition. I like the Ogden's "Old Tyke" tobacco and the John Sinclair "Sandy Hook" and others. Thanks for showing.

Stunning Ken and such a well balanced collection...and I know that there is so much more incredible stuff....just imagine if you hadn't passed on a lot of the signs and bigger stuff over the years....I can see that graphics and colour has been your preference ...a delight to look at...this display deserves to have more comments than anything that's been on here for a while.....Astonishing !......all the best...Ed.

Thanks for the comments....The Bo-Peep is WM Duncan Edinburgh..Lucky enough to have the toffee tin as well

I am constantly amazed by the variety of shapes, designs and colours of British tins. There are always tins I have never seen before and  there will be collectors out there who have bigger and better collections than me....Robert Opie  Steve Burton....and many others..Did any other coutry produce such a variety ? .. American tobacco tins  are pretty interesting

The Metal Box archives sold at Bamfords in 2011 was stunning ..tins you unlikely to ever see again . I only bought two ,prices much too high for my pocket

All the superlatives have been used already. So many tins of note.

Love the round Victory V Pastilles.

The Bells Sea Breeze is a real little beaut.

Ogdens M.A must be super rare.

What is the Goodbodys tin?

Excellent post Kennett.

H Hilbert .The Goodbodys is a one ounce tobacco tin bought from James Lewis (Bamfords) when he was 16 and dabbling in collectables  (I was his tutor)

Bacco hopefully will give more information also on the Old Tyke
