I was on about the Barmouth pot, it looked like a meat paste pot, but being form a confectioner I'm a bit stumped either way its a good Welsh find and worth £25 + I reckon.

I would go forCollecatbles - Bottles & Pots - Pot lids & ointment pots and call it a Meat Paste Confectionary Printed Pot or some such

The site hasn't been dug if you find stuff like this. Did you bottom it?

Eddy - the best thing is for someone (or something) else to dig the holes. You just riddle through the spoil for the finds. As you know I can lend you a good sifter!!

got this out the hole today,,can anybody tell me what is please..i know its a glass ball,but whats its purpose?? its mad how its still intact as it was about 6ft down..would be greatfull to know more if poss..cheers.
