This Player's Advert appeared in The Illustrated London News 22nd Dec 1923. I thought it was a nice colourful advert. I have not come across that particular Country Life packet before. This advert will look nicer in a frame. The Player's Christmas Box also has a nice traditional Festive Scene and about the same date. Nice to see it in this condition. Don't forget!! Put your orders in early for Christmas.

Hi Lummox,

Your "Navy Mixture" is a nice early one and in super condition unlike my "Country Life". Notice the different colour packet of the "Country Life". This is dated 1908.

Player's have a tremendous range of showcards and enamels.
