Leave it as it is - it looks great. If you touch it up you will only look at those restorations in the future |

When I bought the Ransomes, I thought for sure I would give it a lick of paint...... but when I got it, I changed my mind and left it as is. The Rowntrees just feels like it needs it, even though it has got less damage than the Ransomes ? |

I'm glad the consensus is you should leave it as it is; that's certainly how I'd feel. |

This is the first one I have seen in the flesh and the factory scene is fantastic, such great detail. |

See you have already done the ding just above the horizon in the picture! It's just personal taste, and if it's reversible, someone in the future can remove the repairs, if they are not to their taste! So good luck if you decide to continue! (That factory image is a lovely strong one!) |

That is exactly the way I look at it . If someone wanted to reverse the process in the future, it would be a pretty simple task. |

Thanks Ross, not a perfect match by any means, but looks ok to a blind man. |

Funny thing is I was pointed towards a paint matching place I didn't know about. Took the sign in with me, the guy must have been trying for about an hour to get it right, in the end conceded defeat and said that's as close as I can get at the moment. After all that only charged me $20 for 250ml of paint, last time I go buying small model paint pots. |
