Never posted in this section before ,but that's probably because this is the only showcard I possess. It says at the bottom A Wander Ltd .5 Albert Hall Mansions, London S. It cost £10 , 25+ years ago ,and I bought it because I liked it and for no other reason.

Lovely cabinets, makes you realise things didn't change in those days when the prices are sign- written on the glass. Love the high-lights, it's got everything you'd want from a showcard and really strong unfaded colours.
Found an old photo of some of my tobacco tins, the Ogden's was the star it still had the original Ogden's paper wrapping inside ! Also a few more bits from my music room. |

Some classic tins there... not seen that Powder Monkey before, or the homespun - rare tins. |

Hi FB & Collector,
Some really nice tins there. I have posted picture of my "Duncans Pipe" cabinet before and after I converted it to take mainly 1 lb tins. It came out ok.

Cheers Bacco. Perfect Cabinet for 1lb tins... four in a row. I did exactly the same with my Peterson's Pipes front loader. Will post a pic shortly. I have grown to like 1lb tins lately... prefer them to the smaller ones now. Has anyone got a Fleming & Telfer 'Mountain Heatherdew Flake' in their collection to post on here. Its a tin you never see. That 'Late & Early' is a bit special. FB |

Hi Bacco
Here's some pics of my Peterson's Pipe cabinet similar to your Duncans. Its now converted into a tin cabinet by use of small tacks and thin glass shelves. Its a wall mounted cabinet with a heavy ornate internal mirror.

Hi FB & Arkrights,
Love the "Peterson" pipe cabinet with some very nice tins. I have posted the "Peterson" mirror which I wonder if it came from a cabinet like yours as it is very heavy and same design?? Nice confectionary die-cuts Arkwrights, I also like tobacco related die-cuts and have posted my "Player's" which I have had for many years.
