Thanks Ross: the link worked. The photo of the back is unconvincing but could possibly be right(?). But looking at the relative size of the screwholes and especially the size of the hand compared to the sign itself strongly suggests this is much smaller than 12" x 18". So unless a smaller size version was produced(?) this can't be right. The gloss and raised surface of the main lettering look ok but there seems to have been extensive touching up especially of the hands.

Wow, anybody who thinks this is legit would have to be on GLUE or get their bifocals checked. The very poor quality of the images (Compare the crispness of the hands to a genuine example) and the inconsistency on the lettering (Look at all the 'a' for example) is off the scale. The lettering edges are not straight, and are all over the place, the rust color on the front is always the same light red tan brown on these repops, the hole location is a big giveaway too. The fact that the holes are undocumented.....its a very poor reproduction.

I agree with you ,Mick .( Well there is a first time for everything !) That "Falkirk Iron ,London " did it for me . And Deegee rightly pointed out  that it is missing the middle fixing holes . And the back should be grey ,not black , and the letters are not straight or uniform . and they didn't add "Made in Bombay" .Its a mess really, isn't it ?

Wow Trixie. The beginning of a new relationship 😁😁😁😁

Ive noticed they are adding makers names a lot now. Its all about deception, hoping to catch someone off guard. Really sucks, but since the quality of the signs is so poor, at least they can be spotted fairly easily.
