Apologies if you've seen them all before, I just thought to post a few pictures, rather than sit here going stir-crazy . Madwon won't mind anyway, he likes a bit of recycling.

Great stuff Marcus, lovely signs mate.

Here's one of my all time faves... revives happy memories of my much missed pal Mike Worrad who discovered it in North Wales... it sits beside me at my desk every day and I never tire of looking at it - An ALL TIME CLASSIC in my opinion.

Love the look of the Swan soap and the Zebra...…… well that's just a cracker of a sign. Do the Zebra polish signs come up for sale very often in the UK, I can't remember the last time I saw one for sale.

Hiya Fleece. No the Zebra's don't turn up anymore I'm afraid. In fact very few classic pictorials turn up at fairs or in auctions. When they do they are often heavily restored. Most top calibre unrestored enamel signs are sold privately these days.

Thanks for your comments Gents. Two gems you've shown there Brian , and in retrospect they were probably ridiculously cheap too !

The Penny Monster has always been a favorite of mine. This one was a birthday present from my wife last year.

Also a fan of Hudsons, and Sunlight Soap

Nice signs Griffon - you have a taste for the 'classics'. Thank's for showing them

Yes Marcus - cheap by today's standards perhaps, but not so cheap back then when I was a poorly paid (long haired!!!) designer who also needed cash for supping beer!

Some very nice signs folks. Talking of recycling Griffon65 did you buy that large Hudsons soap at Donnington some years ago ? I only ask as i sold one the same some years ago and that was the only one i had seen with the extra piece on the bottom "Established over 50 years". It had a great shine if i remember rightly.

HI Peter. That almost sounds like it used to be yours ,and you sold it to David ! I could be completely wrong of course . Anyway , have you broken your camera ? No pictures for us ?
