 I don't poach stuff, and have put a message on my website that I do not bid on items that are already for sale on ebay. Its just daft telling people what you will bid.

If I am bidding, I always try and put a decent bid in early to make the seller realise that it may sell for more.

Its quite often out own fault for not registering interest in items and relying solely on snipe bidding.

It's good to have healthy debate on a forum. That's all this thread is, with people voicing differing views. I'm not sure I would consider someone's willingness to 'poach' as a key indicator of their moral fabric though. A couple of the comments almost intimate that anybody who does is morally/ethically bankrupt!! A little perspective is needed. Is it annoying: yes! Is it the same as shoddily tarmacking some old ladies driveway for a grand? Er, NO! (Not sure of spelling in that last sentence!!))
