Hi Gordo,

I honestly have no axe to grind, but having met the seller, yes, I do still believe he is genuine. I bought two lovely lettering-only signs from him, and within the last couple of months he has also sold a good, rare Smith's smoking mixture, and a very nice Adkins packet pictorial too. He also has a couple of genuine signs on at the moment; a Colman's Starch, and a Nectar Tea. I know the Robin is a repro, (and was surprised he didn't recognise it as such,) but am uncertain about the Player's mirror. I'm not sure that this counts as 'a lot of repro signs' though! Maybe I missed other repros he sold?

Here is an original Bovril enamel sign with bull.

Note the makers name.

Cheers

Al.

Thanks Al.

Does the back have enamel swirls, etc, unlike mine which has the remnants of what appears to be a grey primer?

Never saw the back but would expect batch number and drips.

Cheers

Al.
