This is coming up for auction with JS Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers, of Banbury. 10th June. Up to £450 so far. I think it will go much higher yet! |

Wouldn't be bothered anyway. Too much enamel left on it, not damaged enough so not very interesting. |

speaking of auctions......I was surprised that David (aka davidsigns) didn't let the site know that he was selling a lot of his signs at auction, back in OZ. Gordo |

My very thoughts Steve. And there's one in another auction that is in very similar condition. How often do you see double sided hanging signs, without a single chip around the suspension points! No backs to check either! They may both be fine, but as Steve says, there are repros of these about. |

ol' Uncle MIck he's not pining for the fjordes yet, he is still kicking. the auctioneers favourite sentence was "unfortunately were going to have to leave that there, the price has not met the vendors expectations" |

I think someone put an order fro a production run. They,ll be coming to well-known auctions near you and I for years to come, mark my words. The automobiles crowd are gulping them up!! |

Not an easy sign to reproduce - a technically challenging process with the cut-out to contend with. Some had the words Morris Commercial at top of radiator. It its a repro it certainly will catch a lot of people out. FB |

It would be interesting if someone has an original they can show. The top left screw hole is overlapping the letter 'y' which could be a little suspect |
