Wow! I have recently acquired a close to mint example of the 'Planters', and I would dearly love the 'Torpedo' or 'Catamaran' in collectable condition - close to top of my all time wanted list, so if anyone knows the whereabouts of such... |

A terriffic graphically very 'busy' sign! Great. Thanks for posting the picture. (It would be wonderful to see equivalent images of the other three as well!) |

So there is at least 6 variations so far that I know about: Java (Red) Planters (Brown) Catamaran (Dark Blue) Gold Mohurs (Green) Torpedo (Light Blue) Flor de Spencer (Green) Are there any other known variations? Can any other forum members contribute examples?

This one just came on Ebay, item 151186118950
Too far gone for anything except for a possible restoration candidate?

Shame about the damage, as the colours looks vivid and the central image is highly detailed, which seems to be par for the course with all variations of these signs. Foreign or not, I love 'em, and would sell my left bollock for a mint condition 'Catamaran'! |
